CrossFit has proven to be world class fitness program. World class doesn’t mean it’s exclusive to the elite. CrossFit can be scaled to the individual’s need while still creating the same fitness effects. We practice gymnastics (bodyweight movements), train the major barbell lifts, develop our endurance all at the same time. This broad spectrum of training is a major reason for the effectiveness of CrossFit. However, it also means there are lots of things to learn and practice. Foundations is designed for people beginning their CrossFit journey. This program is offered to ensure that everyone has a sound understanding of the mechanics required to perform a majority of the CrossFit movements while developing conditioning levels to attend the general CrossFit classes. It is mandatory to attend the first week (which is free) before moving on to the general CrossFit class unless you have 6 months of CrossFit experience. Our experienced training staff will make sure that your start your CrossFit journey on the right foot.
CrossFit X-Factor’s Bootcamp class is a women’s only class focused on HIIT (high intensity interval training). This class is for those who enjoy the longer interval style workouts without using heavy weights or barbells. The primary focus areas for this class are aerobic conditioning and core training.
